¿POR QUÉ NO VIENE?

Se puede decir más alto pero no más claro, varios fans españoles de la cantante alemana le dicen cuando ella llega en un coche: "Sandra, ven a España, que te queremos en España,guapa", lo hacen varias veces y también antes del concierto cuando su marido Olaf está diciendo que en 15 minutos la pueden ver para que les firme los autógrafos. El marido de la cantante que habla español contesta con un "gracias" cuando le dicen "Sandra que guapa eres" pero se calla cuando le piden a su mujer que venga a tocar a España, tiene un oído selectivo.

¿Por qué no viene? ¿Considera que no le saldría rentable? ¿Ya nadie se acuerda de Sandra en España? ¿Está España tan desconectada de los circuitos musicales alemanes?

Yo creo que es un poco de todo eso, quienes nos acordamos de ella ya tenemos una cierta edad, los años 80 quedan lejos, probablemente somos una minoría arrebatada, España no sólo en lo musical sino en muchas cosas más ha estado siempre aislada de Europa, como en otro mundo y los productores musicales, organizadores de conciertos y demás gente del negocio musical no se arriesgan a traer a gente que no sea número uno en Inglaterra o en EEUU, así de sencillo. Este fenómeno que acontece con Sandra no ocurre sólo con ella, también pasa con cantantes como Thomas Anders, actores como Erdogan Atalay, Tobias Moretti, o Gedeon Burkhardt. Los tres últimos, actores, han aparecido en series en España pero si pronuncias sus nombres nadie sabe quienes son, lo alemán, en general no es muy popular en España, si bien esa popularidad puede haber subido en los últimos años debido a la fuerte emigración española hacia tierras teutonas.

Los fans a los que se oye hablar en el vídeo es cierto que son españoles...de Mallorca, y todos sabemos que Mallorca es un estado federal más de Alemania con lo que no cuenta mucho a la hora de decir que la influencia de la cantante se hace sentir en el citado "estado federal", teniendo en cuenta además que ella vive en la isla de al lado, si no la conocieran allí sería cuestión de que se plantease la jubilación anticipada.

Hay pocas posibilidades de que Sandra cante en España y si finalmente lo hace será seguramente en Palma de Mallorca y en pleno verano cuando esté la isla a rebosar de alemanes, lo cual sin duda minimizaría el riesgo de actuar en España.

WHY SHE DOESN'T COME

Tomé un tren, no sé por qué, quizá es que ya no quería volar...nunca más... así empezaba aquella preciosa canción que abría la segunda cara del álbum "Paintings in yellow". Siempre que la escucho en mi imaginación vuelvo a ver mi propio vídeo, el que yo imaginé cuando con 20 años escuché por primera vez está canción, un vagón de un tren en el que viajo sólo, no hay nadie más dentro, miro por la ventana viendo campos de trigo mecidos por el viento, y al mirar por esa ventanilla se ve todo en blanco y negro.

No me preguntes por qué, en esa ensoñación veo el paisaje en blanco y negro por esa ventanilla mientras el tren avanza, no sé donde me lleva, sólo sé que no tengo miedo, no tengo ningún reloj pero sé que son las cuatro de la tarde, las cuatro de la tarde de una tarde de primavera, una de esas tardes en las que el sol calienta pero no quema, una de esas tardes en las que hace unos agradables veinte grados, una de esas tardes perfectas para enamorarse.

Fue la canción que más me impacto de aquel álbum de 1990, aquel álbum de portada púrpura con una sensual Sandra de interminables y preciosas piernas, aquel álbum de una mujer convertida en diosa o de una diosa que quiso convertirse en mujer para regalarnos canciones con su voz de ángel.

Una hembra mitológica cargada de erotismo que parece haber venido del Olimpo sólo para ser la musa de un artista clásico.

El mundo es un lugar diferente visto a través de la belleza de Sandra, de su voz y de esas canciones que te transportan a donde no existe la tristeza.

I take a train , I don't know why, maybe cause simply don't want to fly ... any more ... So began that beautiful song that opened the second side of the album " Paintings in yellow" . Whenever I hear in my imagination I see again my own video, I imagined it when I was 20 years old, when I first listened to this song. I imagined myself in a train car in which I was travelling alone, no one else inside. I look out the window seeing wheat fields swaying in the wind, looking out that window you see everything in black and white.

Do not ask me why, in this dream I see the landscape in black and white through the window as the train moves , do not know where it takes me , just know that I'm not afraid , I have no watch but I know it's four p.m. , four in the afternoon, on a spring afternoon , one of those evenings when the sun heats but does not burn , one of those afternoons of some pleasant twenty degrees , one of those perfect afternoons to fall in love.

It was the song that struck me from that 1990 album , that album in a purple cover with a sensual Sandra with endless , beautiful legs , that album of a woman transformed into a goddess or a goddess who wanted to become a woman to give us songs with his voice of an angel.

An erotically charged mythological female seems to have come from the Olympus only to be the muse of a classic artist.

The world is a different place seen through the beauty of Sandra , her voice and those songs that transport you where there is no sadness.

Beso infinito (Infinite Kiss)

Un vídeo de hace un par de años, un vídeo que nos muestra a Sandra Lauer como Cenicienta, llegando en limusina, como una reina (lo que es) a su fiesta, porque eso no es un concierto, no hay más que echarle un vistazo al público para darse cuenta de que es una fiesta, un público totalmente entregado, un público que fue adolescente como yo, en los años 80, cuando Sandra arrasaba como cantante con aquellos "smash hits" como María Magdalena, Hi,hi,hi (vídeo en el que está preciosa) o el divertido y romántico "Everlasting Love". Para mi las canciones de esta mujer forman parte de mi vida y me retrotraen a los buenos recuerdos de aquellos 80, donde no teníamos internet, comprábamos los discos o los cassettes, aquellos que como yo no teníamos tocadiscos. Recuerdo que la primera cassette que me compré de ella fue la de "Into a secret land"
 que para mi era (y es) un álbum que verdaderamente cuando cerrabas los ojos te llevaba precisamente allí, a una tierra secreta, mística, mágica y misteriosa, como el rostro y la mirada de la cantante. La portada es verdaderamente hermosa con ese azul intenso que se entremezcla con la belleza de Sandra, fotografiada con una maestría inusitada, captada en un instante de romántica contemplación, como embelesada mientras mira hacia el infinito.

Los paísajes gráficos de esta portada unidos a los paisajes sonoros "pintados" por la música y la voz de Sandra construyen un mundo con un cierto parecido a la trilogía de Peter Jackson "El Señor de los Anillos" y digo "cierto parecido" porque en esta obra maestra de Sandra no muere nadie.

A video of a couple of years ago, a video that shows us Sandra Lauer as a Cinderella, arriving in a limousine , like a queen (what she is) to her party , because that's not a concert , just have a look the public and you will realize that it is a party, totally devoted audience , an audience that as I was teenager in the 80s, when Sandra was singing those " smash hits" as Mary Magdalene , Hi , hi, hi ( in this video is lovely ) or the funny and romantic "Everlasting Love" . For me this woman's lyrics are part of my life and take me right back to the memories of those 80 , where we had no internet, we bought LP's or cassettes, those who like me had no record player. I remember the first cassette I bought it was " Into a secret land"
 that for me was (and is ) an album that truly closed your eyes when you wearing right there a secret land , mystical , magical and mysterious , like the face and the look of the singer. The cover is really beautiful with that deep blue that blends with the beauty of Sandra , photographed with unusual skill, captured in a moment of romantic contemplation as she looks towards infinity .

The landscapes in this cover graphics attached to the soundscapes "painted" by the music and the voice of Sandra build a world with a certain resemblance to Peter Jackson 's trilogy "The Lord of the Rings" and I say " some resemblance " because this masterpiece of Sandra no one dies .

Close to seven

Ahora mientras escribo estas líneas escucho el álbum de Sandra "Close to seven", un álbum en el que la artista dejo un poco de lado la vena discotequera para adentrarse en un mundo un poco más intimista. Las letras de reina germánica del pop son en este disco de una belleza inusitada: "I wanna be your crying light, wanna stay here by your side, and seal it forever" . Es este sólo un ejemplo de un disco plagado no sólo de buenas letras sino de una música evanescente que te proyecta a un mundo dificil de describir con palabras; yo me siento transportado a un cuento de hadas, a un lugar tan misterioso como sus ojos rasgados y hermosos, a ese lugar que sólo ella sabe construir con su hermosa voz y esos efectos de eco que la envuelven a lo largo y ancho de ese fabuloso "Close to seven". Recuerdo que en aquel lejano 1992 del que 

 data esta obra maestra el CD lo grabé en una cinta, y esa cinta la transporté conmigo a Inglaterra en aquel verano y mientras atravesaba el país desde Londres donde me dejó el avión hasta Cheltenham me puse los cascos del walkman y escuché la cinta que contenía este álbum dándome cuenta de repente de que las canciones de Sandra ponían más inglés si cabe a mi experiencia veraniega en las Islas Británicas.

Fue ese el primer año que o salí al extranjero, fue una experiencia maravillosa, un verano inolvidable, hasta ahora el mejor de mi vida y la música de la estrella pop alemana no podía faltar.




 Aquel año fue en el que la Reina Germánica del Pop decidió honrarnos a los españoles con su presencia, puesto que compró una mansión en Ibiza donde en la actualidad sigue viviendo.

Ha decidido vivir entre nosotros, aunque teniéndonos tan cerca no ha decidido en estos años dar un concierto entre nosotros, tampoco sale en actuaciones televisivas en España mientras que si que da conciertos en lugares de nombres impronunciables como Cheliabinsk.

La verdad es que como ya comentaba en el otro post no sé si es que ella  tiene desinterés o es que lo tenemos nosotros. En la página de Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sandra-Lauer-Spanish-Fan-Site/378489475626570 que he hecho donde plasmo los artículos de este blog, la mayoría de los seguidores son extranjeros, de hecho traduzco las publicaciones al inglés para que ellos lo puedan entender. 

De todas formas estoy seguro de que la generación de españoles que fue adolescente entre 1985 y 1990 estaría encantada de ver a la Reina del Pop Europeo de los 80 en concierto en España. Anímate Sandra, ¡te queremos!

Now as I write this I am listening to the album of Sandra "Close to seven" , an album in which the artist left a little side her disco style to go into a little more intimate world. The lyrics of The Germanic Queen of Pop on this disc are of an unusual beauty : " I wanna be your light crying , wanna stay here by your side , and seal it forever ." This is just one example of a plagued album not only with good lyrics but an evanescent music that projects you into a world difficult to describe in words , I feel transported to a fairy tale, a mysterious place like her slanting and beautiful eyes , a place that only she knows how to build with his beautiful voice and these echo effects that envelop throughout that fabulous "Close to seven" . 

I remember in that distant 1992 that data this masterpiece the CD I recorded on tape, and that tape transported me to England in the summer and as I crossed the country from London where the plane left me to Cheltenham. I put on my walkman headphones and listened to the tape containing this album suddenly realizing that Sandra lyrics put more English if possible into my summer experience in the British Isles .

That was the first year that I went abroad and it was a wonderful , unforgettable summer, so far the best of my life and the music of the German pop star could not be absent.

 That year was when the Queen of Germanic Pop decided to grace us, the Spaniards with his presence since she bought a mansion in Ibiza where he now lives on.

He has chosen to live among us, having us so close but has not decided in recent years to give a concert among us , either television appearances in Spain while she's giving concerts in places with unpronounceable names like Chelyabinsk .

El redescubrimiento de una mujer exótica y misteriosa (The discoverying again of an exotic and mysterious woman)

(English version at the bottom) Hace unos pocos días encontré por casualidad en Youtube un vídeo de la cantante alemana Sandra, el vídeo de la canción que lo empezó todo:"María Magdalena", en él una preciosa chica joven de rostro dulce, aniñado, enigmático, exótico y misterioso canta el que fuera uno de los éxitos de los 80 con una voz tan dulce como su imagen en este vídeo, un vídeo que me transportó durante los instantes que dura a aquella época fascinante en la que con muchos menos medios que ahora se hacía una excepcional música.

Sandra Ann Lauer (su nombre completo de soltera) tenía la cualidad de transportarme con su música a un mundo etéreo,mágico y romántico donde todo era posible, una cantante excepcional capaz de "pintar" con los sonidos de su preciosa voz auténticos paisajes sonoros que a mi me ayudaron en momentos difíciles de la vida a pensar que a pesar de que hay instantes amargos en el mundo también existe la belleza.

Tras muchos años en los que he estado desconectado de aquella cantante que un día me fascinó, el vídeo citado al principio de este artículo me llevó a ver otro más reciente del año 2010 en el que un equipo de la televisión rusa entrevistó a la estrella germana en su casa de la isla española de Ibiza tomando contacto con ella de nuevo a través de este reportaje en el que Sandra cuenta cosas de su vida profesional así como algunas de su vida personal.

En este reportaje queda patente que los rusos la adoran, para ellos es una superestrella, es la "leyenda de las discotecas" en palabras de un DJ ruso y la presentadora del reportaje entra en casa de la cantante diciendo que ahí les gustaría estar a muchísimos fans. Ya lo creo que nos gustaría estar, hablar con ella y conocerla, ese es el sueño de cualquier fan.

Es una lástima que en España actualmente haya poca gente que sepa quien es Sandra Ann Lauer a pesar de que viva en nuestro país, no sé si el desinterés es mutuo ya que Sandra, que yo sepa no hace actuaciones en España, ni en televisión, ni conciertos tampoco. A mi me gustaría mucho que eso cambiara, ¿crees que es posible, Sandra? Por cierto, me alegro mucho de haberte reencontrado.

A few days ago I came across a video on Youtube of the German singer Sandra , the video of the song that started it all: " María Magdalena " in wich a beautiful young girl with a childlike , sweet, enigmatic, exotic and mysterious face was singing which was one of the hits of the 80's with a voice as sweet as her image in this video , a video that took me for a moment to this fascinating time when with less technical means as today was made outstanding music.

Sandra Ann Lauer (full maiden name) had the quality of transporting me with her music to an ethereal , romantic and magical world where anything was possible , an outstanding singer able to " paint" with his beautiful sounds of her voice authentic soundscapes which helped me in my difficult moments in life to think that even though there are bitter moments, in the world also exists beauty.

After many years in which I have been disconnected from this singer who one day fascinated me , the video I mentioned at the beginning of this article took me to see a more recent from the year 2010 in which a team of Russian television interviewed the German star at her home in the Spanish island of Ibiza taking contact with her again through this report in which Sandra tell us things of her professional life as well as some of her personal life .

In this report it is clear that the Russians worship her as a superstar, she is the " Legend of the clubs " in the words of a Russian DJ and the presenter of the story enters the house of the singer saying that many fans would like to be there. You bet we'd be , talk to her and knowing her personally, that's the dream of any fan .


It's a shame that in Spain currently only few people know who is Sandra Ann Lauer despite living in our country, I do not know if the indifference is mutual. The fact is that Sandra , to the best of my knowledge doesn't do concerts in Spain , or appearances on television. I'd like that to change, do you think it's possible, Sandra ?
